How to set up Entourage for Exchange on a Mac.

How to set up Entourage for Exchange on a Mac:

  1. Open Entourage
  2. Click on the Entourage Menu
  3. Select "Account Settings..."
  4. Click "New"
  5. When prompted, enter your Florida Tech Email Addres {TRACKS}@fit.edu
  6. Check "My Account is on an Exchange Server"
  7. Click the "Right Arrow"
  8. When Prompted enter your the domain ("FIT.EDU") in upper case, enter your tracks id and your tracks password
  9. The settings for the mail account should successfully be determaned at this point.
  10.  Click the "Right arrow"
  11. Verify the settings:
    • Your Name, email,  account id, and domain are correct.
    • Exchange Server: ex.fit.edu
    • LDAP Server: tom.fit.edu
    • Use SSL for these servers.
  12. Click the "Right arrow" 
  13. Click "Skip", if you are off campus or else select "Verify"
  14. Click "Finish"

Note: NetExtender/VPN access is not required for Entourage to connect to Exchange from off campus or wireless, however for the global address book to work the VPN must be connected.
