AUTHORIZATION TO ACCESS TO BANNER
You must have an account to access BANNER. This account identifies you and regulates what you have permission to do on the system. The System Access Authorization Form must be completed for each module you need access to (See below) , signed by the department head, and forwarded to the appropriate Module Manager for approval.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to use these forms. You can download the reader for free.
Fill the forms in online then print them out for authorization signatures.
After module manager's approval, the request will be forwarded to Administrative Computing for account setup. You will receive a letter from Administrative Computing notifying you of your logon ID, initial password, and password requirements.
Your Computer Login ID and PASSWORDS
Your account has a unique name and is referred to as the login ID . Your account is also protected by passwords .
You will be required to change your first password every 3 months. However, you can change your password at any time.
DO NOT LET ANYONE KNOW YOUR PASSWORD!
If you believe someone else may know your password, change it at once. The BANNER system maintains an audit trail of all transactions by ID. An individual who shares his/her ID is responsible for any transactions, whether willful or accidental, entered on to the system.
REMEMBER WHAT YOU CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD TO!
No one can read that password after you make that change. If you forget your password, submit your request online and a new one will be generated.
