Network Connection

Connect to the NetworkAll devices connected to the Florida Institute of Technology campus network must be registered.

In order to connect to the campus wired network, your computer will need a 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, or 1 Gbit/s Ethernet card and a patch cable.  Campus PanthAIR Wi-Fi supports wireless devices/adapters meeting 802.11b/g/n/ac standards. If you are here on campus and want to get started, please click the icon shown above. If you have not yet arrived, return to this page once you are on campus and ready to get your hardware registered.

To gain access to the campus wired or wireless network, it is required you register your device’s MAC address using your TRACKS account. If you do not have a TRACKS account, please contact the Technical Support Center at 674-7284. If you do not know your MAC address, please see our article on "How to Find Your MAC" for detailed instructions. If your computer has more than one network adapter (for example both wired and wireless), you will need to register both MAC addresses (or whichever one you intend to use). MAC addresses are unique to each network adapter.

In order to register a wireless device, you will need to connect to PanthAIR-Registration. Once device registration is complete, disconnect from PanthAIR-Registration and connect to PanthAIR to browse the internet. It is recommended that you “forget” the PanthAIR-Registration network from your device.

Florida Tech offers guest access upon request. However, the broadcast of PanthAIR-Guest is limited to specific locations around campus. If PanthAIR-Guest access is required (no Tracks account), please contact Tech Support for the necessary security information.
