All on-campus telephone repairs for providing dial tone services are handled through the Telecom Office. It is suggested that prior to reporting a repair, please attempt to determine if the problem is related to the phone set or to the line. This can be done by exchanging the telephone set with one known to be working or by trying your telephone set on another line. Generally a repair tech will be on-site within 24 hours.
Service request can be placed by completing a install / relocate request or by calling the Telecom office at ext. 8002 during normal business hours. Please know the location, extension number and details regarding the nature of the problem.
IMPORTANT - All new install and relocation requests must be approved by the budget manager before Telecom can start work on the request.
