Erik Guadalupe
Bio
Erik's networking experience dates back to 2001, when he had the opportunity of a lifetime to design and build the network of a city government from the ground up. In the early days, he was responsible for all of it: systems administration, networking, wireless and cybersecurity.
Fast forward to 2013, Erik was able to bring that experience to Florida Tech, where he took on the role of Systems Administrator II. Since then, he has held roles as a Network Engineer and Network Communications Manager. Erik took a leadership position at another college before returning to Florida Tech as the Director Of Network Communications.
Before returning to Florida Tech, Erik led both the Networks & Systems Departments, while also managing contractors performing a multi-million dollar upgrade across multiple campuses.
He is excited to be back at Florida Tech, to work with the leadership team here, and to continue to modernize the network, data and voice services that are the backbone of the way we communicate with each other and the world.
