University Owned

Some of the same vendors also provide discounts on systems purchased for use on campus. The guidelines for purchasing university systems differ from those purchased for personal use. Please review the Guidelines and Specifications before making your purchase to ensure your system will meet the required standards. All university computer and laptop  purchases must be made using a purchase order. P-Cards are strictly prohibited. Please check with Procurement Services to make sure you are within their most current policy before making a purchase.

Certain computer manufacturers provide Florida Tech faculty and staff with discounts on select computer models. This include desktops, laptops and accessories. The manufacturers who support the Florida Tech community are Dell and Apple.

For Personal or Home Use

Educational discounts are available to all persons related to the university. Also included are links to download free software. These apply to personally-owned systems, not computers that are owned by the university.

For Use on University-owned computers

Faculty and staff members who need software for university-owned computers with a Florida Tech asset tag can use the following links to downloads, vendor contacts, and purchasing procedures. In most cases installation instructions are included with the software; if you need assistance installing or setting up your software, please contact Technology Support.
